From the time I was 12 years old, I suffered from scoliosis. My parents were constantly taking me to Dr. Appointments for numerous reasons ranging from chronic back pain, severe dull achiness in my legs to the point of not being able to sleep, carpal tunnel in my wrists and relentless headaches. It became a normal routine to receive an MRI and other various X-rays over a ten year time period. The only solution the medical Drs could ever come up with was an extremely invasive surgery and a lifetime of prescription drugs for the constant pain that would still be a regular part of my life. Neither of these solutions were ever an option for me. So I suffered through the pain and became used to it.
Once I turned 25, things started getting progressively worse and I decided to take a different more holistic approach. I saw a variety of different chiropractors, all of which seemed to help me a little, but still not giving me the relief I had been seeking. It wasn’t until I met Dr. Scolari and was introduced to upper cervical that I was forever changed. This was a form of chiropractic care that I had never been given. To say that it’s been life changing would be an understatement. I’m now 31 years old and have never felt stronger and healthier. I’m grateful everyday that I discovered upper cervical and met Dr. Scolari.
